The Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development (SSED) of the State of Santa Catarina, Lucas Esmeraldino, and his Deputy Amandio João da Silva Junior have left for a one week training program overseas. Lucas has embarked for a mission in the United Kingdom where he will remain till Friday Mar 15, under the invitation of Cambridge University by its Centre for environment energy and natural resource governance (C-EENRG) where he will present the potential partnerships and opportunities linked to technology and development specially driven by the encouragement of the existing innovation ecosystem in Santa Catarina, as well as moved by the generation of clean and renewable energy in the State. By his turn, Amandio Junior is travelling to Austin, Texas, USA, as ACATE invitee to attend the South by Southwest show, best known as SXSW, a global major event in the innovation sector, where he will take part of working meetings with concrete possibilities to attrack investiments to Santa Catarina.
The trip and positive schedule of both parties are running free of charge to the State Treasury, because have been paid by those entities. During the short term of absence, Felipe Assunção, is the interim SSED Secretary.
